We have decided to launch a 100, to help raise funds, and give members of the 100 club a chance each month to win a cash prize. For those not familiar with "100 Clubs", this is a fundraising activity that enables Cat Protection members, family and friends to help raise funds for our branch, whilst participating in monthly draws for cash prizes.
Members of the "100 Club" pay £2 per month for each number in the Draw, half of this money goes to branch funds whilst the other half is returned as prize money. The amount of money returned as prizes depends upon the number of people in the "100 Club". Obviously in the first couple of months prizes will be less as membership numbers build up. The more people enrolled, the higher the prizes become.
For example if there are 25 members in the club, the monthly amount in the "club funds" would be £50, the branch keeps £25, and £25 would then be given in prizes as follows: 1st Prize £15, 2nd Prize £10, 3rd Prize £5.
There is no limit to the number of Draw Numbers you can hold; each number costs £2 per month. We will allocate you a number - if there is a number you'd particularly like, let us know, but we can't make any promises.
To help make admin a little easier, we'd be very grateful if you would be able to sign up for a whole year at a time.
The first draw will take place on 1st June 2003 - so get your forms in for your chance to win.
The 100 Club is only open to people aged 16 and over.
