Keeping the Co-Ordinator under our paws

Spurred on by the fact that our contributions are now appearing on the website, we have been inspired to bring you news of activities within the home of our slaves, who we understand are now your co-ordinators.

Prof's problems in the litter tray department seem to have been cured, although he now has to take hebal pills every other day, which does mean that we get fish every morning and evening instead of just once a day. I am still having to watch my weight (well our slaves and the Cat Clinic are doing it for me), but I am nearly at my target weight and an mow able to wash bits of me I haven't been able to lick for some time, so am feeling alot happier. I'm not however letting our slaves know that and am growling and swearing at my brother more regularly just to confuse them!

At Easter our slaves built us a cat run, which means we can go out and shout at the birds and laze in the chair, on boxes and bits of carpet which we find good fun - except when it rains!

On May 5th, they brought a cat carrier down stairs - it was a Sunday when we know the Cat Clinic is closed. We were certain that we were both OK and wondered what they were doing. They then went out carrying the empty carrier, which made us think they had lost their marbles. A couple of hours later they returned with the carrier seeming a bit heavier and took it straight upstairs. They kept talking to something in that silly way the slaves do (we're not those horrid children you know!) and we had to wait a couple o days to find out for certain what was going on. We had our suspicions that they had taken on another cat (aren't we enough for them?) and sure enough we were proved right. He is a thin, slightly nervous chap called Tom (he used to be Phantom) and we do like him although we are trying to show otherwise in case they get another one! (Memo to Aunty Kathy & Aunty Barbara - don't let the emotional blackmail of any other cats get to them!)

Well that's all for now

Sykie & Prof (with help from Tom)
